    Office Assistant/Veterinary Receptionist

Growing up in Door County and vacationing on the Gulf side of Florida, you could say my heart belongs to the water and hospitality runs through my blood.  Life has had many surprises for me and likes to keep me on my toes. After nearly 15 years in Hospitality and originally coming to the Fox Valley for Culinary and Hospitality/ Business Management courses, I needed a change. Enter Great Lakes Veterinary Clinic in March of 2021. Where I began my veterinary learning as a receptionist.  From there my life continued to change and in March 2022 I welcomed my first child, a handsome little gentleman. After a few months off from Great Lakes, they welcomed me back with open arms and promises for better things to come. Enter Office Assistant position in June 2022.  I am thrilled to be advancing with Great Lakes and continuing to meet new challenges and see more smiling faces.

When I am not helping Clients and their Pets, or answering the next email, you can find me at home or near the water. Usually with a book or doing some crafting.  But that kind of free time is fleeting.  So, my little family will be on day trips to Door County and hoping that my feline friends, Aubrey and Graycie, don’t mind the house to themselves.  Until Paxton’s first trip to Disney World, don’t be surprised to hear we just stayed home and watched Disney+.
