We are thrilled to share that Great Lakes Veterinary Clinic (GLVC) is now offering the Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) procedure as part of our orthopedic services. Our dedicated team, Dr. Randy Van Maanen and Dr. Elizabeth Jonas, have undergone specialized training in TPLO surgery, ensuring precision and expertise in this field.  We are adding this procedure to our previous orthopedic offerings of fracture repair, patella luxation, femoral head ostectomies and amputations.    

Dr. Randy Van Maanen and Dr. Elizabeth Jonas have been trained by a board-certified orthopedic surgeon from the UK who taught the TPLO procedure and critiqued their results.   After successfully passing this rigorous training and performing a TPLO surgery several times, they are now prepared to offer this procedure to our clients and their canine family members.
